Island Glamping Adventures is a fully operational, asset-rich glamping rental business based in Victoria, BC. Over four seasons, it built a genuine reputation — 5-star Google rating, an engaged local following, and consistent inbound booking inquiries — all grown organically through word of mouth, collabs, and a strong brand presence.
The business has proven demand across two operating models: a delivery-based tent rental service (set up at backyards, campgrounds, and private properties), and an emerging opportunity as a fixed glamping destination on its own property. A new owner can step in with an established brand, ready-to-deploy equipment, and a live booking platform from day one.
Featured in West Coast Weddings and West Coast Magazine. Named a finalist, Vancouver Island Wedding Awards Best Styled Shoot 2023.
Full inventory list available upon request. Total gear insured at $20,000 replacement value — context for the asset base included in this sale.
Deliver, set up, and take down fully styled glamping experiences at client locations — backyards, campgrounds, private venues.
Proven model with an existing brand, booking system, and customer base. Ideal as a seasonal side hustle or small business.
Set the tents permanently on your own rural or vacation property and list on Airbnb, VRBO, and direct booking simultaneously.
Eliminates labour and transport costs. Nightly rates for glamping experiences typically outperform equivalent indoor rentals.
A note on BC's short-term rental legislation: The 2024 Short-Term Rental Accommodations Act restricts most Airbnb-style rentals to principal residences — but tent and RV-style accommodations are explicitly exempt from the principal residence requirement, as they cannot be converted to permanent housing. Rural properties and regional district electoral areas (which cover much of southern Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and the Cowichan Valley) are also largely exempt. This makes a bell tent glamping setup one of the most regulation-friendly short-term rental models available in BC right now.
